PBS KIDS Video App Reviews

My daughter loves the app but some of the videos just repeat and repeat and shows the characters distorted along with the voices. I dont understand why these would even be on here to watch. Non educational and no point to them, all it seems to do is put her in a trance to where shell watch repeated until I take away the device. Will be deleting this app.

App often has trouble connecting to chromecast. Doesnt show full episodes, shows clips so there is no coherent story line. I think kids benefit from coherent story lines, so Im not very satisfied. At least it always worked on Netflix! I have a kindle, but the kindle is very touchy and ends up frustrating my son.

Iam 9 years old and I still love PBS kids! I like it bcuz I can watch it on my iPad, and I like the shows. Thanks for making this!

I like the app! I use it to watch the new Odd Squad episodes Ive missed. I would give this 5 stars if there were the option to scrub through the videos to skip certain parts.

Nothing happens when I click on the parental control button in the corner. I also agree with another reviewer that mentions the ridiculousness of not having timers on the videos. Thats streaming 101!

It doesnt allow you to log in, so you cant play full episodes. The access controls are inscrutable—it seems like theyre taking UX cues from snapchat. The app is annoying. Its useless. It will only frustrate you. Skip it.

This app is great!!! She can watch her cartoons from anywhere!

Was a great app until about a month ago. Now just the sound plays and the arrow goes around like its loading.

What happened to the fast forward button now I have to wait through the tittle and commercial why yall putting commercials

This is a great app when it works. Lately when it actually finish loading we get sound only & no picture. Please fix. Thank you.

Will change to 5 stars once you fix it. Episodes (on two different devices) come up with audio but no video, just a loading screen, sends my son into fits.

My son loves this app but as of a few days ago, the full episodes only play audio, no video. Please fix!

After skipping shows or, occasionally, when trying to start a show, the video will still appear to be loading but the sound plays. This doesnt resolve and all must be restarted. ME276LL/A, iOS 9.3.3

Most of the shows dont even work anymore! You can here them but the screen is stuck on loading

Ive used the app before and it worked fine.... but now it wont work!

The videos all work....if you hit the pause button and then hit play. If you dont hit pause it doesnt show picture, only sound. I would also like to pay for it so I dont have to watch the stupid commercials and sponsored by ads. Maybe let a couple shows ( Sesame Street and curious George) or whatever be available for free but if you want " Daniel tiger shows" and the rest you need to pay for it. I would rather pay and help support good wholesome TV show like pbs produces, than have a crappy app because they cant afford to make it great!

My 22 month old loves pbs kids which is why I was excited to see the app offered in the App Store. When we launch the app, we hear only sound and see no video. Weve tried deleting the app and reinstalling in the hopes of rectifying the issues however, none of our attempts have resolved the problem.

I love that my 3yr old can watch all his favorite shows on the go. This is great when I have to take him with me to the doctor office or a meeting since it helps keep him busy. Its also great since we dont have satellite or cable and out antenna doesnt always work.

My son loves this app (he loves Curious George!), and it has worked great in the past, but now it wont play the video, only the audio. The clips work fine, but we can never watch the full episodes. Please please fix this!!
