I wish they had added an option to block certain shows. My two year old isnt going to get much from Odd Squad, and Id rather be able to get him focused on more age appropriate shows.

I love the update and Ive loved it in the past!! My toddler loves it shes been operating since she was one on her iPad now shes three and its only gotten better!!
They added the option to watch pbs live but destroyed the app in the meantime. First of all, every time you close the app it restarts instead of picking up where you left off. Secondly, it will it let you choose an episode - it keeps defaulting to the same one even though in the parents window it says its playing the one you selected. Very disappointing! Hope they fix it soon because its almost unusable in this form.
All of the pubs apps have a serious bug with chromecast. Any time a show is cast it blasts the sound on the TV to 100!! Any change to a show in progress (like pause, or fast forward) it will blast the volume to 100 again. Very frustrating when trying to cast. App works well otherwise.
With this update, they removed the "play in background" which really made the app great. Too bad I had my apps set to automatically update.
This brings back memories
When the app opens it automatically starts playing whatever it wants. I can cast to the tv and press pause/play/etc with remote, but once you hit play it puts the volume on the tv all the way up to 100%. What the hell! Plus I cant actually click on anything. Its as if the app is permanently frozen. Id like an option to enter my cable info as well to unlock more than 4 episodes..
I really enjoy the app its just that every time I try to cast it, the volume goes all the way up! Which can be terrifying when you dont expect it. We love PBS and hope that maybe this will be fixed soon!
I dont know what I would do without this app. My daughter loves all of the shows. I love the new option to watch whats live on PBS Kids, or anything offline from the video archive. Everything on it is educational and keeps her attention. Love the updates. Thank you!
The most recent update is terrible. Bring back the pause button, the ability to cue, the information on how long the clips are! It makes the app much worse to use with kids. You cant pause to get their attention, you dont know if an episode will take more time than you have. This is causing kid meltdowns. Roll it back!

App is nice on the iPhone but if I try to cast to my AndroidTV it forces the volume to 100 and wont allow me to turn it down.
I love this app and we use it daily but since the update yesterday it wont open without crashing and is unusable. Hope they fix it soon! My toddler is NOT happy.
The app works just fine but you need to add more episodes. Ive already watched all of them.
Great work. My daughter loves this app. It has all the PBS kids shows and always updates with new episodes each week.
We like this app quite a lot, because it provides several videos for each of the PBS Kids shows. However, I see one glaring issue preventing this from being a four- or five-star app. There is apparently no progress bar and no way to fast-forward, reverse, or skip to a particular point in a video. This is a feature I see on YouTube, YouTube Kids, Netflix, Hulu, podcast apps, etc.--a common feature. This is an annoying issue when, say, you accidentally tap outside the app and have to wait for the app to reload, scroll to find your show, slide to open the video menu, select your video, and start it from the beginning. It doesnt pause the video until you return. Why?! Yes, you can enable guided access to reduce accidents, but given that a progress bar seems like such an average feature for video and audio playback, its surprising PBS has yet to include it on the PBS Kids Video app.
This application isnt always started, please correct it, and then everything will be good.
First day was great. Right now it took a while before it finally opened. Then when it did. It closed. We reopened. Did this a few times before it stayed open. Pushed the show she wanted to watch and the screen turned black and it just said loading. Then it closed. Tried it twice.
Great app and interface but we always have an issue where partial episodes play and then it buffers and goes to a segment from a different episode. Super frustrating.
When it works, its great to see the shows. However, it frequently gets stuck loading (on nexus player app and iPhone app). I havent been able to open it on my phone anymore :( please fix
